Child Visas
Subclass 101, 102, 117, 802, And 445
Australia’s migration program provides several pathways for children to join their parents or guardians living in Australia. Child Visas allow the children of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens to live in Australia, either temporarily or permanently. Whether you are looking to bring your child to Australia or legalize their stay while already here, our experienced migration agents are here to guide you through the visa process and ensure your family stays united.
What Are Child Visas?
Child Visas are designed to allow children of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens to migrate to Australia. These visas can grant either permanent or temporary residency, depending on the specific visa subclass. The application process requires sponsorship by a parent or legal guardian who resides in Australia.
Several types of Child Visas cater to different circumstances, including biological children, adopted children, and dependent children.
Here are the key Child Visa categories:
- Subclass 101: Child Visa (Offshore)
- Subclass 802: Child Visa (Onshore)
- Subclass 102: Adoption Visa
